About
God:
God
is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.
He has eternally
existed
in three personalities: the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These
three are
co-equal
and are one God.

About Eternity
People were created to exist forever.
We will either exist eternally separated
from God by sin, or eternally with God
through
forgiveness and salvation. To
be eternally separated from God is Hell.
To be eternally in
union with Him
is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are
real places of eternal existence.

About
The Holy Spirit
The
Holy Spirit is co-equal with the
Father and the Son of God. He also
lives in every Christian from the moment
of salvation.
He provides
the Christian with power for living,
understanding of spiritual truth, and
guidance in doing what is right.
He
gives everyone
a spiritual gift when they are saved.
As Christians, we seek to
live under His
control daily.

About Human Beings
People
are made in the spiritual image of God,
to be like Him in
character.
People are the supreme object of
God’s creation. Although every person
has tremendous potential for good, all
of us are marred by an attitude of
disobedience toward God called “sin”.
this attitude separates people from
God and causes many problems in life.

About Jesus
Jesus
Christ in the flesh was both God and man;
that He was born of a virgin and
that He lived a
sinless
life, in which He taught and did mighty
works
and wonders and signs exactly as revealed
in
the four Gospels; that He was crucified,
died
as a penalty for our sins and was raised from the
dead
bodily on the third day. Later he ascended to the
Father’s
right hand where He is head of the church
and
intercedes for believers. He will come down from
heaven
again, to earth to receive His own to be with
him
forever.

About
The Bible
The
Bible is God’s Word to us.
Human authors, under the supernatural
guidance
of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source
of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
God inspired the autographs (original writings) of
the Scripture and those
autographs were consequently
without
error. We accept the Bible as
the final
authority or all matters of
faith and practice.

About Salvation
We
believe the Bible teaches that salvation and the
forgiveness of sins
is a free gift to us but that we
must
accept it.
We can never make up
for
our sin by
self-improvement or good works.
Only by trusting in Jesus Christ
as God’s offer
of forgiveness can anyone be saved
from
sin’s penalty.
We believe the Bible teaches that one receives God's
grace by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin,
confessing Christ, and being
immersed into Christ, but that none
of these is sufficient in and of
itself for the assurance of salvation.
